BRIEF HISTORY: The Bazerji family has been in the automotive business since 1920, year of establishment of the family firm​. The company's head office was based, at that time, in Aleppo (Syria) and was the sole distributor of Ford, Chevrolet, and Opel among other vehicles. In 1947, Gabriel Amine Bazerji moved to Beirut and established an independent company in Saifi as an exclusive agent of Plymouth, British Electric and several others. The family company established an independent operation in Lebanon in 1963 to represent and distribute the following automotive brands: Opel, Lancia, Subaru, Suzuki, Maserati, Henchell Hanomag, and Ceat. In 1987, Gabriel Amine Bazerji and his two sons Nabil and Rafic, established the family firm, GABS (G.A. Bazerji & Sons)​. Since then, the company has been the exclusive importer and distributor of numerous brands such as: Suzuki, Lancia, Maserati, Ferrari, Iveco, and Samsung commercial vehicles.
