MASSYR is a non-profit Association, established in Lebanon, which aims to make tangible progress towards ensuring that Middle Eastern Art & Artists are well represented internationally. Through the creation of new initiatives, Massyr works both with local artists and local and international associations & institutions with similar objectives to support Contemporary Middle Eastern Artists to launch and develop their career while striving to better connect them with international platforms and the international art scene. As part of its attempts to raise awareness among artists especially in distressed countries in the Arab region to support and document their narratives, MASSYR has launched its first project SAFIR which aims to create a network of Artists and Mentors who collaborate to build capacities.
