Besme International Humanitarian Group for Humanitarian Assistance is a civil, independent, non-political, non-sectarian, and non-religiously-affiliated organization registered in Beirut in the Register of the Non-Profit Corporations No. 643/2014. The organization adheres to the principles of the United Nations and its international charters. It is managed by a team of qualified professionals with significant experience in the field of human work in Turkey, Cyprus,Central Asia and Arab countries, including Lebanon. Besme International Humanitarian Group relies on academic research and field analysis to address issues in a scientific and objective manner. Its projects are carried out regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, social status, political inclination or any form of discrimination. It primarily targets the marginalized, underprivileged, and most vulnerable members of society, namely, children, youth, and women. Besme’s projects are mostly located in poor and rural regions. Besme gives priority to initiatives aimed at improving the condition of women and youth, in addition to those that ensure the protection of children.
