Born in the hometown of Gebran Khalil Gebran, Karina earned her first degree in Interior Architecture in France, after which she moved back to Lebanon to further pursue her education. In 1996, following her second degree, she embarked on her career with the establishment of her Studio, Karina Sukar Interior Architecture & Design, in Beirut, as an advocate of elegant simplicity and eclecticism in Interior Design. She holds a particular appreciation for contemporary design, expresses her love of simplicity and aesthetic sensibility by blending the old with the new, integrating elements and styles from different eras and diverse cultures to contrast and complement each other simultaneously; creating regal, harmonious ambiances. After years of experience in the world of interior design Karina Sukar launched the opening of her signature furniture & home accessory Boutique exclusively in the Gemmayze neighborhood of Beirut, featuring home accents and décor, elevating raw materials of wood, marble, steel and glass,with her signature’s fusion of modern and Art Deco. Karina Continues to create interior design solutions and innovative pieces that whilst ensuring sustainability and comfort are equally appealing to the eye.
